This exhibition aims to present an alternative perspective on Antoni Gaudí from Catalonia, Spain. His architectural works have been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.Through an accessible and engaging approach, the exhibition seeks to help both art professionals and visitors curious about Gaudí’s inner world understand the unique architectural philosophy of this master.
The curator of the exhibition is Dr. Josep Cerdà, Professor at the University of Barcelona, Doctor of Fine Arts, and sculptor. Born only a few kilometers from Gaudí’s hometown, he brings to this exhibition not a secondhand interpretation from books, but a lived experience deeply rooted in the local soil. It is a spiritual resonance shaped by a unique regional context, as well as an artistic memory shared across the land of Catalonia.
The central theme of the exhibition is the "sounds" that Gaudí heard from childhood and which profoundly influenced him. These sounds shaped his perception and expression of the world. Professor Cerdà has specially created several "sound sculptures" and divided the exhibition path into three immersive spaces. Each section revolves around a core theme, forming the three major parts of the exhibition, guiding visitors step by step into the deeper meaning and cultural roots of Gaudí’s architectural language.

This is not merely an exhibition but an immersive cultural experience. It will lead the audience into Gaudí’s world, rich with symbolism and artistic tension, exploring the origins of his architectural creations and the spiritual drive that pushed him to continually break through conventions, producing works that have profoundly influenced contemporary architecture.
