Jointly organized by the Shanghai Jiushi Art Museum, Art Frontier HK Limited, and Guowenxuan (Beijing) Cultural Development Co., Ltd., the exhibition employs diverse media—including architectural elements, historical photographs, working manuscripts, video recordings, and documentary resources—to comprehensively present the evolution of Gaudí’s creative work while also reflecting the spirit of an era transformed by the Art Nouveau movement.

Exhibition Introduction

This exhibition is proudly presented by Art Frontier HK Limited and Shanghai Jiushi Art Museum, in collaboration with the Gaudí House Museum, Guowenxuan, and Beijing Radio and Television Station and other institutions. It has received significant support from the China National Cultural Heritage Administration, the Embassy of Spain in China, the "Gaudí & Jujol" Research Institute at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), and the ESCAC, the film school of the University of Barcelona.

The exhibition is structured around the concept of "sound," which Gaudí heard and was profoundly influenced by since his childhood. The curator of the exhibition, Josep Cerdà—a professor at the University of Barcelona, Doctor of Fine Arts, and sculptor—has specially created several "sound sculptures" for the event. The exhibition pathway is divided into multiple immersive spaces, guiding visitors step by step into the profound artistic conception and cultural foundations of Gaudí’s architectural language.
